Years ago when I taught at the homeless shelter near Pioneer park, I wanted to give the children and opportunity to learn tennis. I asked Mike if he could help us out, and he did so by donating a dozen or so tennis rackets to the children at tshelter school. That really showed how much Mike cared about our community. I will miss him and his friendliness every time I saw him.
