Brief History: Originally spearheaded in 2015 by Coach Mike’s Tennis Academy and the Coach Mike’s Friends of Public Tennis 501(c)(3), this project represents a decade of dedicated stewardship to replace a dilapidated clubhouse with a world-class facility. By navigating complex regional funding and securing Salt Lake County ZAP funds—bolstered by a $120,000 foundation contribution—our organization successfully bridged a vital community need through a unique partnership between Salt Lake County and Salt Lake City. Now known as Liberty Hills Tennis, we are honored to have led this LEED Certified project from inception to delivery, ensuring a premier, sustainable home that serves thousands of players across the valley and beyond.

This upgrade represents a major leap forward for our facility including superior visibility, energy efficiency, and ensuring light stays on the courts, eliminating unnecessary light spill.
